Page purpose¶
This page allows you to view and create dynamic groups of accounts.
It consists of 2 panels:
- a panel displaying the list of dynamic groups of accounts
- a panel displaying the conditions to be applied to accounts for populating the dynamic group selected in the list
List of Dynamic groups of accounts
This panel allows you to create, edit, clone and delete dynamic groups of accounts.

Filter conditions for dynamic group
This panel allows you to define the dynamic group creation logic.
You can define multiple groups of conditions and the logical operator (AND or OR) that connects them.
| Condition | Description |
|---|---|
| Account code | Allows you to add accounts to the group by filtering them by code. |
| Custom attributes | Allows you to add accounts to the group by filtering them by the customised attributes defined in the Account Master Settings (see Account Dimension Settings page). |
| Account nature | Allows you to add accounts to the group by filtering them by account Nature. |
| Account type | Allows you to add accounts to the group by filtering them by account Type. |
| Account conversion type | Allows you to add accounts to the group by filtering them by account conversion Type. |
| IC data management | Allows you to add accounts to the group by filtering them by IC Data Management. |
| Use account for setup | Allows you to add accounts to the group by filtering them by Use account for setup. |
| Standard sign | Allows you to add accounts to the group by filtering them by Standard sign. |
| IC Capacity | Allows you to add accounts to the group by filtering them by IIC Capacity. |
| Account node code | Allows you to add accounts to the group by selecting one or more account nodes. |
For most conditions, it is also possible to select the 'calculate Variations/Details' option. In this case, accounts will not be retrieved by applying the filter to the accounts list, but their detail/variation accounts will be retrieved. It is also possible to specify the list of detail/variation accounts to be used to retrieve accounts.
