Introduction

Data entry, or the entry of financial statement data in CCH Tagetik, concerns the following types of data:

• original data, i.e. gross amounts and intercompany entries.
• journal data, i.e. entity journals and consolidation journals

To enter these data correctly, the following aspects of the system must be configured:

• data entry rules

• if useful, custom dimension management
