Multidimensional data model

What a data model consists of¶

Every Tagetik application is based on a multidimensional data model. This is mainly defined by the following dimensions:

system dimensions
custom dimensions
extended dimensions
analytical dimensions

In turn, the dimensions can be linked and organised into aggregation structures, allowing them to be analysed in a functional way. In Tagetik, there are two types of aggregation structures:

hierarchies
groupings
