Purpose of the page

This page allows you to customise the Equity pick-up requirements for the selected process.

Attributes tab

Field	Description
Scenario	Scenario of the selected process.
Period	Period of the selected process.
Start date	Start date of the periodic equity pick-up calculation.
End date	End date of the periodic equity pick-up calculation.
Period length	The period length defined on the consolidation scenario/period selected in the periods table. 1 indicates a monthly duration, 12 indicates an annual duration, etc.
Pick-up period length	This field defines whether the equity pick-up will be calculated for each selected scenario/period on a progressive or periodic basis. To calculate the equity pick-up using the progressive method, define this field only, and set the Pick-up account period length to 0. Then enter the code of the period from which to start in this field. This defines the desired period length. In fact, the figure is calculated taking account of the progressive data up until the selected period. To calculate the equity pick-up using the periodic method, enter the number of periods between the selected period and the previous period in which the equity pick-up was run. E.g. if the scenario is divided into 12 months and the period is set to 4, the process starts to calculate the equity pick-up from the fourth month (April), every four months.
Pick-up account period length	Period of the consolidation process in which the accounts are updated in the accounting, including the pick-up effects. 0 = calculates the equity pick-up on a progressive basis. If defined, this calculates the equity pick-up on a periodic basis, according to the selected period. The system will copy onto this period, adding the journals of the last period in which the equity pick-up was calculated to the values already present.
Override pick-up percentages	Opens a page to override the pick-up percentages (direct and indirect ownership percentages used by the pick-up) for the selected scenario/period.
Pick-up percentages	Opens a page showing the pick-up percentages of the selected scenario/period.
