Purpose of the page¶
This page allows you to customise the data processing for the minority interests calculation.
Page fields
In Generic rules:
| Field | Description |

| Accounts | Opens a page to change the accounts adjusted by the minorities calculation for the direct and indirect minorities portion. |
| Categories | Opens a page to change the amount and entity journal categories on which minorities should be calculated and the corresponding category on which the minorities journal must be generated. |
| Periodic minorities | |
| Periodic minorities calculation | Allows you to customise the variation/detail types to be used to allocate the amount of the % change in minorities for the result shown on the balance sheet. |
| Area variation - Entrance | Only with Periodic minorities calculation selected. Variation/detail type used to generate variations that take account of the change in the consolidation area due to the entry of new entities. |
| Area variation - Exit | Only with Periodic minorities calculation selected. Variation/detail type used to generate variations that take account of the change in the consolidation area due to entities leaving the group. |
| Modify % - Increase | Only with Periodic minorities calculation selected. Variation/detail type used to generate variations that take account of the increase in percentage ownership of a controlled entity. |
| Modify % - Decrease | Only with Periodic minorities calculation selected. Variation/detail type used to generate variations that take account of the decrease in percentage ownership of a controlled entity. |

| Setup Periodic minorities calculation | Only with Periodic minorities calculation selected. Opens a page to override, for each scenario/period of the process, the Reference date for periodic minorities calculation and establish which ownership structure events to include and exclude. |
