CCH Tagetik checks for the presence of any unbalanced amounts related to diagnostics for control groups and the IC capacity check.

Function

During the data processing step, balancing data processing makes it possible to automatically balance any unbalanced amounts below a certain threshold.

Types of balancing data processing

The available types of balancing data processing are detailed below:

• on entities: balancing data processing is run on data related to entities on the original scenarios, i.e. on amounts and entity journals, both contributor and consolidator.
• on the group: the balancing data processing includes the group consolidation data present on the original scenarios, i.e. the consolidation journals on the original scenarios.
• on the consolidation area: the balancing data processing is run on all data present on the consolidation scenarios, i.e. the consolidation journals on the consolidation scenarios, considering the consolidable amount type.
