Working on process reports (consolidator)

Introduction

This module details some of the procedures for generating reports on data of the process open in the consolidator cockpit.

Extract a report on consolidation journals

  1. In the Journals filter section, select the type of journal to display, any category or node of categories by which to filter the journals and, if desired, indicate one or several journals of the selected scenario/period.
  2. In the Rows filter section, select the accounts to be included in or excluded from the report (only main accounts, result accounts) and specify the type and/or nature of the rows to be recovered on the selected accounts (detail, variation, normal) and their origin.
  3. In the Scenario/period section, specify the type of scenario/period to be included in the report (consolidation scenarios or original scenarios) and select the desired scenario/period.
  4. In Grouping and Sorting, define the grouping and sorting mode for the headers of journals and rows in the report table.

Generate a report on the net result and reserves group evolution

  1. In Actions, click Process reports and then on Net Result and Reserves Group Evolution analysis.
  2. Click next to Consolidation area: the Items selection window will open.
  3. Select one or more scenarios/periods corresponding to the process’s consolidation area.
  4. Click next to Category node: the Items selection window will open.
  5. Select the node of categories on which to filter the data.
  6. In Type, select the display mode for the consolidation journals in the report.
  7. To view the detailed report of the individual adjustments with the relative journal number, select Show journal number.
  8. Cl Apply: a preview of the generated report will appear.
  9. To download the report in PDF format, click . To generate the report in Excel format, click .

Note: in the Journal number column, click on the desired link to view details of the entire journal.

Generate an ad-hoc analysis report

In the ad-hoc analysis filters table, the Scenario, Period, Entity and Amount type dimensions must be defined. Do the following on every row of every dimension.

  1. In Filters, select the type of value to be included in the analysis, then set the desired value.
  2. (Optional) To make the form display all details to the highest level for the analysed data, select the Detail option, then select the desired display mode.
  3. (Optional) To add filters from other dimensions, click and repeat steps 1 and 2 to set a new dimension filter on the new row.
  4. To obtain the analysis results in XLSX format, click Download, otherwise click Next to view them in a pivot table.
