Data entry and processing in processes
Introduction¶
Data can be entered on process by the contributor user via the contributor cockpit. Then, once the data has been submitted, on CCH Tagetik it is possible to launch data processing, which will in turn be used in calculations and processing by the consolidator in the consolidator cockpit.
To prepare data entry for processes, the following rules must exist:
- Data entry rules which determine whether data can be entered in the contributor cockpit.
- Data processing rules which define the data processing to be run on the data.
These rules can be customised or left as they have been prepared for the whole environment.
Data entry configuration varies depending on the logic on which basis the financial statements are prepared. For more details, see Data entry and submission rules and Introduction to data processing.
