How to create a new dimension

Dimensions > New dimension

This procedure allows you to create both the five custom dimensions and analytical dimensions.

IMPORTANT: Only create custom dimensions if you really need them. Once inserted, the new custom dimension will have to be declared for all data entered into the system.

1. Select the type of dimension to create, and then define all the relative characteristics.
2. Click OK to create the new dimension.

How to define the characteristics of the company dimension

Dimensions > Entity > > Settings

Set the characteristics of the company dimension, and then click OK.

How to define the characteristics of the account dimension

Dimensions > Account > > Settings

Set the characteristics of the account dimension, and then click OK.

How to define the characteristics of the scenario dimension

Dimensions > Scenario > > Settings

Set the characteristics of the scenario dimension, and then click OK.

How to define the characteristics of the category dimension

Dimensions > Category > > Settings

Set the characteristics of the category dimension, and then click OK.

How to define the characteristics of a custom dimension

Dimensions > choose custom dimension > > Settings

Set the characteristics of the custom dimension, and then click OK.

Set the characteristics of an analytical dimension

Dimensions > choose analytical dimension>> Settings

Set the characteristics of the analytical dimension, then click OK.
