Purpose of window¶
This window allows you to create a new form.
Options in window¶

| Code | Form code. |
| Description | Form description. In multilingual projects, there is a description field for each supported language. |
| Run as pivot table | In navigation mode, this allows the form to be opened in pivot mode. This allows you to optimise the matrix formatting and cell rendering processes in Excel. When it is active and several matrices are present, then the form is opened in Excel it becomes mandatory to choose a matrix to display. In the case of Web Forms, only forms containing a single matrix can be run. |
| System | When selected, this indicates that the form is a system form, i.e. a pre-defined form that can be used as a template to develop customised forms depending on the business at hand. IMPORTANT: once created, these forms cannot be edited. To edit them, this property must be disabled. |
| Use as dashboard | This allows you to enable the form to be used as a dashboard. See Dashboard reports. |
| Lock structure | Only the user who created the form can edit it. Forms with this option active are identified by the icon. It can only be enabled and disabled by users who have function 0000415 – Reporting Excel – Lock templates active in their role. |
| Do not display | Do not display the form in data entry or navigation modes. This option can be used to prevent forms from being seen by users in the configuration or editing phases. |
| Enable as web form | Defines whether the form is available as a web form. - From configuration: depends on how the Enable all forms as web forms option is set in CCH Tagetik’s general settings. See Settings window. - Yes - No |
| Ad hoc form | Allows you to select an Ad hoc form to be used as the template for the new form. The new form will inherit the ad hoc form’s structure and configuration. |
