Connections to CCH® Tagetik

Introduction

The Connection Management panel allows you to specify which CCH® Tagetik environments to connect to in order to retrieve data for analysis.

Note: It is possible to connect to several CCH® Tagetik environments at the same time.

IMPORTANT: To set up the connection, you need to know the URL of the Tagetik web application, or have a configuration file in .json format specific to each environment ( if this is not available, it can be requested from Tagetik via the support portal).

Each CCH® Tagetik environment can have multiple applications. In the connection panel you also specify, for each environment, the applications you want to connect to.

Applications specified in an Excel sheet are saved with the Excel file, while environments, specified via the .JSON files mentioned above, are saved in the user's Excel configuration.

Note: If you work in Excel desktop and Excel web, or if you use Excel from another PC, you must specify the environments again.
