Data entry and submission rules

What are process rules

fIn CCH Tagetik, data entry and submission logics and rules define the data processing and submission methods to be used in processes. These logics and rules are managed in the Data entry & submission tile and in the Data Entry Rules section of the process setup. In particular, the rules defined in the Data entry & submission tile are applied by default to all processes in CCH Tagetik, while those defined in the Data Entry Rules section of the process setup allow you to fine tune the global settings with specific overrides for the process.

Function

The data entry and submission settings define the following data entry, processing and submission rules:

  • Gross and IC amounts
  • Journals (entity and consolidation journals)
  • Submission
  • (only in the Data Entry Rules section of the process setup). Override entity parameters on the original scenarios/periods
