|---|---|
| Tools | |
| > | Refresh: runs the report again, potentially updating the data extracted from the database. Note: this refresh operation could delete any edits to the run report made locally, especially if the report contains a dynamic matrix. To create areas that will not be updated, assign a name starting with “TGKNOTREFRESH” with the Excel AREAS function. The edits remain in place locally and are not visible to other users who are not in possession of that particular file. |
| > | Refresh comments: updates the comments linked to the report cells. See Cell edit - comments window. |
| > | Export Excel document (protected): allows you to export the form as an Export file, maintaining security over the spreadsheets. |
| > | Export Excel document (unprotected): allows you to export the form as an Excel file, removing the spreadsheet protection. |
| Work Off-line: exports the form as an Excel file so it can be edited off-line and then reimported. See Data entry in work off-line mode. | |
| . > | Show: shows cells containing hidden comments, or comments associated with the lowest level elements if the selected filter is the node of an aggregation structure. In this case, only the row related to the node is displayed in the report. |
| > | Details: displays the comment in a dedicated window. |
| > | Hide: hides the displayed comments. |
| Warning: shows any non-blocking warnings. Only visible if there are warnings to be shown. | |
| Hide rows/columns if 0: shows/hides any rows or columns given the property “Hide” in the design phase. | |
| Statistics: runs an Excel file containing data on the form’s performance. See Reporting statistics. | |

| Cell properties: in the left-hand panel, opens the Cell properties tab, showing information on the cell and filters. | |
| Predefined filters: in the left-hand panel, opens the Filters tab which shows the filters applied to the form parameters and allows the user to edit them. | |
| > | Cell: runs the drill-down on the selected cell. See The drill down function. |
| > | Column: runs the drill-down on the selected column. See The drill down function. |

| Intercompany Report: generates a report in Excel format listing all the intercompany entries declared on the accounts present in the report. See Cell edit - intercompany window. | |
| Run TGKSend: runs the TGKSend formulas. See Custom functions. | |
| Formulas: allows you to use the following functions: - Show formulas used. Shows the formulas used as comments and hides any comments. - Retrieve formulas. Shows the formulas used in the relative cells. Only available on editable cells. - Retrieve formulas from.... Shows the formulas used in the relative cells but allows you to specify a different scenario or period. The scenario can be marked as "Previous", "Next", "Ref1" ... "Ref5", or a combination thereof. The period can be changed by applying a forward or backward shift to all period filters. This function allows you to use formulas saved during the data entry session in a previous year or previous month, for example. - Save all formulas. Saves the formulas present on all editable cells of the form. - Save selected formulas. Saves the formulas present on the editable cells in the current selection. - Delete all formulas in the DB. Deletes the saved formulas related to the current form from the database. - Delete selected formulas from DB. Deletes all saved formulas related to the current selection. Note: the formulas are not deleted but replaced with empty spaces. These functions allow you to use Excel formulas to enter values in editable cells instead of typing the amounts directly, and so it is useful to save formulas and restore them to be used later. Every user can only see the formulas that they have created. | |
| Paste set of values: pastes a previously copied set of values. In the presence of validation checks on the target cells, the validation is also run on the copied values. Note: only areas of adjacent cells can be selected and pasted. Non-editable cells will be ignored. | |
| Restore original values: returns the form to how it was when opened. | |
| Spreading Method: activates/deactivates the spreading method. See Spreading. | |
| Lock area: locks the selected cells to spreading. | |
| Unlock area: unlocks the selected cells to spreading. | |
| Go back online: deactivates work off-line mode for a saved form to work on it locally. See Data entry in work off-line mode. |
