Manage thesnapshots on the process

Enable snapshots on the process for dimension by step

Application database > Processes tile > select process > > Process setup > (Data processing section) Snapshot >

Application database > Navbar > Processes & Workflows > Process > select process > > Process setup (Data Processing section) > Snapshot >

To activate the snapshot function for the selected process, select the Snapshot option in the Data Processing section.

This procedure allows you to select the dimensions on which to perform the snapshot for the desired process.

  1. Select the dimensions of the process on which to run the snapshot.
  2. Click Save.

Run a snapshot on a process with dimension by step

Application database > Processes tile > select process > Open process > > Snapshot

Application database > Navigation panel > Processes > select process > Open process > > Snapshot

Using this procedure, you can populate a previously-created snapshot scenario with the process data.

For details on how to create the snapshot scenario, see.

  1. In Action, select Create.
  2. In Version, specify the version number of the snapshot scenario on which to copy the data. You can view the list of previously-created snapshots.
  3. In Notes, enter any comments on the snapshot scenario created.

IMPORTANT: totals are not calculated on the copied data, and their original origin is kept.

Restore a snapshot on a process with dimension by step

Application database > Processes tile > select process > Open process > > Snapshot

Application database > Navigation panel > Processes > select process > Open process > > Snapshot

This procedure allows you to restore on the process the data previously saved on a snapshot scenario.

  1. In Action, select Restore.
  2. In Version, specify the version number of the snapshot scenario from which to copy the data to be restored.
  3. Select the snapshots to restore.

IMPORTANT: totals are not calculated on the copied data, and their original origin is kept.
