Purpose of the page¶
Here you can define the mapping between the fields of the dataset and the fields of a rule.
The mapping is used when launching a DTP to populate the fields of the selected rule. When the DTP is run, the system also checks whether the indicated relationships are consistent.
Note: this page is only available to ESG licence holders.
Data on data target mapping
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Code | Mapping code, unique to the partition |
| Description | Description in languages configured for the environment |
| Rule | The type of rule for which to create the mapping |
| Rule type | If the rule type is 'Calculation Rule', you can choose either 'Script' or 'Logical Dimensions' |
Note: Currently only 'Calculation Rules' can be selected in the 'Rule' field.
Data for matching fields
If the selected rule type is 'Script':
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Code | Dataset field whose values will be used as code for the Script rule entries |
| Description | Dataset field to be used as description in the languages configured for the environment |
| Script | Dataset field whose value represents the script |
| Label | Dataset field whose values will be used as labels for the Script rule entries |
| Enable | Field in the dataset whose value represents the value of the Script's 'activate' flag |
| Run condition | A dataset field whose value represents an execution condition for the script |
| Start date | Field in the dataset whose value will be used as the start date for entries in the Script rule |
| End date | Dataset field whose value will be used as the end date for entries in the Script rule |
