Purpose of the page¶
This page allows you to define the mapping between the dataset and the table fields of the selected analytical dimension.
The mapping is used by the DTP at runtime to populate the fields of the analytical dimension. When the DTP is run, the system also checks whether the indicated relationships are consistent.

| Description | Description in languages configured for the environment |
| Dimension type | Dimension for which to create mapping |
| Analytical dimension | If the Dimension type is Analytical dimension, it allows you to specify the dimension from those of the workspace. |
Data for matching fields

| Code | Dataset field the values of which will be used as codes for analytical dimension items |
| Description | Field to be used as description in the languages configured for the environment |
| Hierarchy | Dataset field the values of which will be used as the hierarchy code |
| Node | Dataset field the values of which will be used as the hierarchy node code |
| Start Date | Dataset field the value of which will be used as the start date for analytical dimension items |
| End date | Dataset field the value of which will be used as the end date for analytical dimension items |
