About Record Owners
Record owners have full control over their records; only a record’s Owner or a CCH Tagetik Supply Chain Planning Administrator may change a record. Records may have single owners or a group of owners (EMEA Sales, for example).
If a record does not have an owner, and the Database setting Allow all users to modify records that have no owner is enabled, the record may be changed by any user. If this Database setting is disabled, only an Administrator may change records without owners.
As a record owner, you have responsibility over the historical data, formulas, overrides, adjustments, and the forecast of a record.
Owners, Power Users, and Administrators may propose changes to any record, and you as the owner have the responsibility of accepting or rejecting these proposals.
