Propose Changes to a Record

Only Administrators and record owners can change an item in the Record Database; however, any user may propose a change for the owner to review.

You can add a Pending Proposals widget to your Dashboard to access all proposed changes quickly to records you own.

To propose a change to a record

  1. Make your changes to the record and, at the top of the Change History section, click Propose a Change.
  2. In the Propose a Change screen, type a detailed description of the reason for the change and click OK.
  3. On the menu (), click Save All Changes.

The proposal is saved to the Record Database and is immediately visible to all users (in the Change History section). In addition, the record displays with a P next to its name in the records list.
