Details of Periodic value calculation properties
Description¶
This property allows you to specify the calculation method according to which CCH Tagetik transforms periodic figures into cumulated progressive figures.

Calculation options syntax: standard or in-memory reporting engine¶
Details of the calculation syntax of the periodic value in relation to the various reporting engines:

| Standard reporting engine | The system identifies the process from the scenario/period pair of the figure to be converted and, based on the FX rate specified on the process, defines the calculation method for the periodic value and the relative algorithm. |
| In-memory engine | The system identifies the FX rate to be applied to the individual cell and defines the periodic figure calculation method, regardless of where this has been derived overridden in the form, from the account or the process. |
Note: the Automatic option is applied when the period length is not specified in the form.
