Dimensionality details
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Account | Enables FST items to be calculated as the sum of the accounts related to them. Financial statement templates created with this option are saved in the Standard financial statement templates folder. |
| Custom Dimensions | Allows you to select a custom dimension in order to calculate FST items as the sum of the elements of the selected custom dimension. With Account selected: FST items are calculated as the sum of the account/custom dimension element combinations. With Account not selected: FST items are calculated as the sum of the accounts that are valid on the custom dimension. Financial statement templates created with this option are saved in the Advanced financial statement templates folder. |
| Control type | Enables FST item accounts to be related based on the control type existing between the reference entity (the parent company for consolidated data, the entity for statutory data) and the counterparty entity. For example, the FI account can be related to the FI FST items in subsidiaries, associates or other mode, based on the type of relationship existing between the entity pairs. The Control type differentiates the relationships between an account and the FST items. An account declared to an owned entity can thus be linked to different FST items depending on the defined control type, and on the scenario/period. Financial statement templates created with this option are saved in the Advanced financial statement templates folder. |
| Multiple relationships | By default, every account or account/custom dimension pair can be related to one FST item only. If enabled, it is possible to relate a single account or account/custom dimension pair to several FST items. Note: for this option to be valid on the financial statement template, dependence on the account dimension must be activated in dimensionality. Alternatively, if dependence is only active for the custom dimension, an account must be included in the custom dimension definition. |
