Define the layout of a dashboard report

Excel > CCH® Tagetik > Design

  1. When creating a form (or editing an existing form), activate the enable dashboard option.
  2. Open the desired report, then click in the design toolbar: the Define Dashboard window will open.
  3. In Select a layout, select the desired layout: a dedicated section will be shown for every template.

Note: if necessary, new pages will be created automatically to contain all the charts.

  1. In the specific section for each matrix, from Select a chart, choose the chart type and dimensions to be shown depending on the chosen type of chart.

Note: only dimensions defined on (matrix) row and column filters and tab filters can be selected.

Change the order of charts in a dashboard report

Excel > CCH® Tagetik > Design

  1. Open the desired dashboard report, then click in the design toolbar: the Define Dashboard window will open.
  2. In Select a layout, select the desired layout: a dedicated section will be shown for every template.

Note: if necessary, new pages will be created automatically to contain all the charts. 3. In Position charts in the layout panes it is possible to define which matrix will generate the chart for every pane of the layout.

Navigating dashboard reports

Dashboard tile > click grouping > select the report

  1. Set the required filters, then click OK: the charts prepared in the report will be filled in.
  2. To view the charts of a specific sheet, select the corresponding tab.
  3. To edit the value of the chart filters, click the button and edit the slicer values: only the filtered data will be shown in the chart.
  4. To refresh the data in the charts, click .

Note: if the value of a non-shared slicer is edited, only the data for the current chart will be recalculated. If the value of a shared slicer is edited, the data will be recalculated and all the charts that share the slicer will be refreshed. 5. To generate pivot tables based on the matrices used to generate charts, click to open a preview.
