Purpose of the page¶
This page allows you to create FST items.
What it looks like
Attributes tab
| Element | Description |

| Code | FST item code |
| Description | Description of the FST item |
| Item type | Define the item type: - Parent Item: the item can be related to one or more accounts - Description: header line, cannot be related to accounts - Standard formula: item determined by a formula |
| Class | Only with Parent Item. Define the FST item class: - None - Cost: changes the sign. - Revenue: does not change the sign (default) - Active - Passive For details, see Sign class. |
| Formatting type | Allows you to indicate the formatting type of the desired Tagetik style for FST items. See Levels of style application in the matrix. |
Formula section
Only with Item type set to Standard formula.

| Shows the Add item from field. | |
| Hides/shows the Add item from field. | |
| Add item from | Indicates the desired dimension on which you want to insert the formula, to view relevant syntax suggestions in the formula definition area. - Current FST: items of the current FST (default) - Other Financial statement templates: items of other FSTs - Accounts |
| Formula definition area | Allows you to insert the formula text. |
| Guide | Shows information on the syntax to be used in the Formula definition area. |
| Override formula for cube | Enables the formula definition area for overridden cube. |
| Formula for cube | (Only with Override formula for cube selected) MDX operation to be run on formula-type FST items. |
Buttons and/or links on the page
