Define a slicer

IMPORTANT: before inserting a slicer in the cell, to improve the visibility of the slicer when the form is run, it may be necessary to change the size of the cell in which it will be inserted, or merge it with other cells.

  1. Select the desired cell.
  2. Click : the New slicer window will open.
  3. Select the parameter on which to define the slicer.

Note: the user can select both parameters defined in the (standard or ad hoc) form, and parameters that are not used in the form but are defined in the system. Unused parameters can be shown by activating the Show unused parameters option. 4. Click OK.

The inserted slicer is shown in the cell in the work desktop and in the Open items tree, with a description of the selected parameter.

Select a parameter in a slicer

Excel > CCH® Tagetik > Data Entry > open form

Excel > CCH® Tagetik > Navigation > select form >

  1. Select the cell with the slicer and click .
  2. Select the desired parameter, or click to open the selection window and choose the parameter. In this window, the user can define advanced options (e.g. reference FX rates for the selected values).
  3. Click OK.
  4. In the toolbar, click to refresh the form.
