Introduction¶
Setting matrix filters means managing filters that have an effect on the whole matrix, not just on certain rows/columns. It is possible to define filters made up of individual dimensions and filters with more complex structures.
Set a filter
- In the dimensions tree, select one or more elements to be used as a filter, then click
next to the matrix filters definition area, or drag them into the area. Details of the reference dimension and the selected dimension elements will appear in the definition area. - Set the filter properties as desired (see Matrix filter properties).
- Repeat the previous step to add elements of the same dimension or create filters related to other dimensions.
Add a dimension element to a filter
- In the dimensions tree, select the desired dimension element and click
: the element will be added to the elements node relative to the dimension to which it belongs. - Set the filter properties as desired.
Customise a filter
In the filters definition area, click on the desired filter and change its properties in the properties table (see Matrix filter properties table).
