Adding Rich Text

CCH Tagetik Ribbon Bar > Objects > New

A Rich Text can be added to the presentation to enable updatable descriptions. To do so, in the General tab:

  1. Click on New in the object section of the Ribbon Bar.
  2. Fill in the form with the mandatory fields and, under Object Type, make sure you select Rich Text.

In the Source tab :

  1. Select the Application Database from those available in the drop-down menu. The databases that can be selected are those associated with the user who logged in.
  2. Select a Workspace
  3. Select a Dataset
  4. Select a Rich Text

In the Parameters tab:

  1. Click on for each mandatory parameter (*): this opens the parameter selection panel.
  2. Select a hierarchy/grouping for the dimension to which the parameter refers
  3. Select in the dimension tree a single element/node, or several elements/nodes (multi-selection is possible)
  4. Click on Insert.
