Configure the Word add-in
Background¶
Before adding a new configuration in the add-in, you must integrate Intelligent Disclosure with the CCH Tagetik solution and the organisation’s Microsoft 365 suite. For more information, see Intelligent Disclosure setup.
Server connection configurations¶
New connection to the server
Word Add-in > CCH® Tagetik Disclosure Ribbon bar > Accesses
- In the Accesses panel, click CONFIGURATIONS then .png Add Configuration
- In Display name, assign a name to the new configuration.
- In CCH Tagetik Tenant ID*, type the CCH Tagetik tenant ID of the user’s organisation.
- In CCH Tagetik Client ID*, type the CCH Tagetik client ID of the user’s organisation.
- (Optional) Click Show advanced then CCH Tagetik URL, to type the connection address of the Tagetik application to which to connect and Identity provider URL to type the address of the system providing the authentication service.
- Click Save button
You can also create a new connection by exporting an existing connection and re-importing it.
Export of connections to the server¶
Word Add-in >CCH® Tagetik DisclosureRibbon bar > Accesses
- In the Access panel, click CONFIGURATIONS
- In the Configuration panel, click Import/Export then choose Export
Once processing is complete, the system notifies the user that the export process has completed and generated a file named "configuration.json" in the Download folder configured in the operating system in use.
Import of connections to the server¶
Word Add-in >CCH® Tagetik DisclosureRibbon bar > Accesses
- In the Access panel, click CONFIGURATIONS
- In the Configuration panel, click Import/Export then choose Import
- The user selects the "configuration.json" file containing the configurations to import.
- For each imported configuration, the system produces one of the following outputs:

Edit a connection to the server
Word Add-in > CCH® Tagetik DisclosureRibbon bar > Accesses
- In the Accesses panel, click CONFIGURATIONS then on the desired configuration card.
- Edit as desired.
- Click Save button .
Delete connection to the server
Word Add-in > CCH® Tagetik Disclosure Ribbon bar > Accesses
- In the Accesses panel, click CONFIGURATIONS then on the desired configuration card.
- Click Delete, then Yes, Delete to confirm the deletion of the connection or No, cancel to cancel the deletion and return to configuration management.
Note: if the system detects configurations that are “In use” by the user when configuration management is accessed, those configurations cannot be deleted.
