View the Sources of a document
The sources of a document show the origin of the data shown in the objects (table, graphs, amount and attribute dimension). The sources of a document can be of two types:
- Tagetik: Tagetik databases in the configuration
- Excel: Excel files saved on the SharePoint site configured for the application
View the sources of a single document
Word > CCH Tagetik> Document Management > Sources
This procedure allows you to view the sources of a single root document or part of it.
- Select the document of interest in the Sources window; either the open document or a document belonging to the same structure can be selected.

The window shows:

searchable list of sources associated with the document, presented in alphabetical order; in particular, where present, Tagetik sources are shown first and then Excel sources
- field for punctual search of sources; by editing in the search field, the system filters the sources in the above-mentioned list
- back button; clicking the button shows the document structure in the Sources window
Note: Should there be more than one source application database for the document, the source list will indicate the reference database before each source.
Display document structure sources
Word > CCH Tagetik> Document Management > Sources
This procedure allows you to display the sources of a structure:
- Click View all Sources in the Sources window

The window shows:

searchable list of sources associated with structure documents, displayed in alphabetical order; in particular, where present, Tagetik sources are shown first and then Excel sources
- field for punctual search of sources, by editing in the search field, the system filters the sources in the above-mentioned list
- back button; clicking the button shows the document structure in the Sources window
Note: Should there be more than one application database associated with the sources of a document, the source list will indicate the reference database before each source.
