Purpose of the page¶
This page allows you to set up the process’s data model.
Page tabs
The following tabs are displayed in the following cases:
- the Process Data Model is "By Account" and the Retrieve accounts from form option is not selected
- the Process Data Model is "By account/category"
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Account | Defines the accounts or accounts/categories to be included in/excluded from the process and the step on which they enter data. IMPORTANT: only the forms for which those accounts can be edited are available for data entry. |
| Form exceptions | Selects the forms to be included in/excluded from specific steps of the process. |
| Editability exceptions | Allows you to override behaviours in default editability and to set specific behaviours. |
| IC step exceptions | (Only if the process has at least one step on the Entity dimension) Defines the steps in which to set the block on intercompany declarations for specific accounts or accounts/categories not belonging to intercompany cockpits. |
| Control groups to exclude | (Only if the process has at least one step on the Entity dimension) Defines the control groups to exclude from the process from those that the deployment operation automatically relates to the process. |
| Analytical Workspace measures | (Only if the process has at least one step on the Entity dimension) Defines the datasets of the Analytical Workspace to be included in/excluded from the process. |
Instead, the following tabs are displayed when the Process Data Model is "By Account" and the Retrieve accounts from form option is selected:
| Element | Description |

| Form | Defines the form to be included in/excluded from the process. Note: this allows you to manage forms for which the accounts are defined dynamically and not automatically included in the process deployment. |
| Account Exceptions | Select the accounts or accounts/categories to be included in/excluded from the data collection and specific step. IMPORTANT: only the forms for which those accounts can be edited are available for data entry. |
| Editability exceptions | Allows you to override behaviours in default editability and to set specific behaviours. |
| IC step exceptions | (Only if the process has at least one step on the Entity dimension) Defines the steps in which to set the block on intercompany declarations for specific accounts or accounts/categories not belonging to intercompany cockpits. Note: the override is effective only on the accounts that do not belong to an IC matching cockpit. |
| Control groups to exclude | (Only if the process has at least one step on the Entity dimension) Defines the control groups to exclude from the process from those that the deployment operation automatically relates to the process. |
| Analytical Workspace measures | (Only if the process has at least one step on the Entity dimension) Defines the datasets of the Analytical Workspace to be included in/excluded from the process. |
Fields in the Account tab

Fields in the Editability Exceptions tab

| Account | Accounts on which to override the editability rule. |
| Data type | Selects the type of data on which to set the editability rule (gross data, intercompany data, or both). |
| Category type | Selects the category on which to set the editability rule (amount, journal, or both). |
| General settings | Selects the editability level of the selected data (non-editable, only importable, editable, automatic). |
Fields in the IC Step Exceptions tab
This tab is available only if the process has at least one step on the Entity dimension.

| Action | Selects the action to be run on the account or account/category: - Delete: deletes the intercompany account or account/category from the gross step. Thus, the intercompany declaration on the account is never blocked. - Shift: shifts the locking of intercompany declarations from the account or account/category onto an IC step. - Automatic: sets the gross step of the account as the IC step of the account or account/category. |
| Account | Selects the account or account/category for which to set the block on intercompany insertions. |
| Step | (only with the Shift option in the Action field) Selects a different IC step to which to move the block on intercompany insertions. Note: by default, the block occurs in the gross amount step to which the account belongs. |
Fields in the Control groups to exclude tab
This tab is available only if the process has at least one step on the Entity dimension.
| Field | Description |

| Action | Selects the action to be run on the control group: - Delete: deletes the control group from the process. - Automatic: only includes the control group if it contains at least one process account, unless the “Include in process if all parent accounts exist” or “Include in process if all child accounts exist” option is active on the control group. In this case, it runs the selected rule. |
| Control group | Selects a control group or node of control groups. |
| Data type | Selects the type of data on which to run the action (gross data, intercompany data, or both). |
Fields in the Analytical Workspace Measures tab
This tab is available only if the process has at least one step on the Entity dimension.

| Analytical workspace | Selects the Analytical Workspace. |
| Dataset | Selects the dataset from the Analytical Workspace. |

| Step | Selects a Business Workflow step. |
