Send email events
List of events that originated the sending of emails¶
The list of events that trigger the sending of emails is provided below:

| Entity submission | Sends the email when one of the entities is submitted.**Only for processes with Entity dimension.**** |
| Submission of the last entity below the Higher entity | Sends the email when the last child entity of a parent node is submitted. The email is sent to all users associated with the parent node. Only for processes with Entity dimension. |
| Entity approval | The email is sent when, if an approval workflow is defined for the entity, the submission task is run (i.e., when the entity transitions to the ‘in submission’ status and the corresponding indicator on the dashboard turns blue). Applicable only to processes with Entity dimension. |
| Reject submitted elements | Sends the email when an entity changes from Submitted to Rejected. Only for processes with Entity dimension. |
| Reject "Submission in progress" entity | Sends the email when an entity changes from In Submission to Rejected (cancelling the Approval step). Only for processes with Entity dimension. |
| Reminder on Entity submission | Sends the email on the submission reminder dates set for the process. Only for processes with Entity dimension. See Set deadline window. |
| Reminder Before Task Due Date | Reminds the user of the due date by sending a daily reminder to all managers of the element. The reminder starts from the number of days prior to the specified deadline. Only for process hub. See Deadlines dates page. |
| Completion: Process task workflows | allows the task managers to be notified via e-mail when the previous task has been completed |
| Send Summary Email for Rejected elements | once a day, when an element is rejected, it sends a reminder to the submission and approval task managers. Only for process hub. |
| Send Summary Email on Task Completion | Once a day, when a task is completed, a reminder of the next task is sent to the managers Only for process hub. |
| Journal approval | Sends the email when the journal approval tasks for which an approval workflow is provided are run (i.e., when the journal goes into "in submission" state). |
| "Submitted" journals rejection | Sends the email when a journal is rejected. |
| "Submission in progress" journals rejection | Sends the email when the journal status changes from In Submission to Rejected (cancelling the Approval step). |
