Managing the Embedded Content Widget

Creating the Embedded Content Widgets

application database > Home Page > + New Widget > Embedded Content

This procedure allows you to create an Embedded Content Widget.

In the pop-up window, you can choose:

  • As links:

  • Choose Title

  • Create as many boxes as desired elements
  • Enter URL (on the left) and text (on the right) for each element

  • In the widget:

  • Enter the URL (on the left)

  • Enter the title (on the right)

When the above fields are entered, the 'Create' button is enabled, which allows the Embedded Content widget to be added to the home page. Otherwise, it is possible to undo the changes made by clicking on the 'Cancel' button and confirming on the window that pops up.

For security reasons, the Embedded Content Widget only supports a limited set of links whitelisted in the Repository (see Widgets).

Modify the Embedded Content Widgets

This procedure allows you to edit an existing Embedded Content widget.

By hovering the mouse over the Embedded Content widget, an arrow appears at the top right of the widget. Click on it and then select the 'Edit' option

In the pop-up window, you can :

  1. Edit the title of the resource in the 'Title' field
  2. Add new rows with new URLs and their titles
  3. Change the URL and title of an existing row

When at least one field is changed, the 'OK' button is enabled, allowing the Embedded Content widget to be changed. Otherwise, click on the 'Cancel' button and confirm on the window that pops up to cancel the changes made.

If the title and/or each row is removed, the 'OK' button will be disabled.

Delete the Embedded Content Widgets

This procedure allows an existing Embedded Content widget to be deleted.

By hovering the mouse over the Embedded Content widget, an arrow appears at the top right of the widget. Click on it and then select the 'Delete' option.

Upon confirmation, a pop-up appears asking you to confirm whether you want to permanently delete the widget. Clicking on 'Delete' permanently deletes the widget from the Home Page; otherwise, clicking on 'Close' cancels the operation.

Move the Embedded Content Widgets

This procedure allows you to move an existing Embedded Content widget.

Hover over the Embedded Content widget you wish to move, drag and drop the widget to the desired position. In the event that the chosen position overlaps with another widget, the latter is moved and readjusted to the page.

Resize the Embedded Content Widgets

This procedure allows you to change the size of an existing Embedded Content widget according to the predefined maximum and minimum size for the widget.

Hover the mouse over the corners of the Embedded Content widget whose size you want to change, the cursor turns into the double arrows. Click, drag the mouse to the desired size and then release the mouse to change the size of the Widget.
