Home page: Widgets

The home page can be customised by adding the following widgets:

  • quick access
  • suggested tasks
  • with embedded content
  • logo
  • Notes

Widgets can be added, edited, deleted, resized and moved within the page. Each widget has its own maximum and minimum size.

Quick Access Widget

One or more Quick Access widgets can be added. The widget must contain at least one of these elements:

  • a link to an Internet site of interest identified by URL
  • an email address
  • a bookmark of Tagetik Software S.r.l..

By clicking on the element saved in the widget, the web page opens in a new tab.

Suggested tasks widget

One or more suggested Task widgets can be added for processes with dimension by step. Each widget can be linked to:

  • a single active process
  • or to all active processes for which the user has rights

The widget shows the first 12 uncompleted tasks, based on the task order defined in the workflow graph, of the first available step of the first scenario period belonging to the process that contains a step not yet submitted for all entities associated with the step. Tasks are sorted based on their expiry date (when expired they are shown in red, otherwise they are grey); tasks with no expiry date will be shown at the bottom of the list and tasks in progress will be shown before tasks that have not yet started.

When all tasks of a process have been completed , when the selected process has been deleted or when it has been archived, the widget displays an informative placeholder.

Embedded Content Widgets

Links to other websites can be added within the home page. As with all types of external links, not all sites respond correctly. Two types of connections are available:

  • as a link

  • Enter a title for the widget, and then add a desired number of links by entering the URL and name. Once the widget is created, click on the link to open it in a new page inside Tagetik to navigate it.

  • in the widget

  • Use the entire widget to contain a single site and the title given to the widget. This site will be displayed all the time, with no need for a link.

This functionality is not meant to include links to other pages of the application Tagetik Software S.r.l..

Note: the page URLs must be authorised, in other words entered on the white list (Manage access to external links).

: On Cloud environments the whitelist only includes access to Power Bi, Qlik, Sap analytics cloud.

An image can be inserted into the widget, to be used as a logo.

Widget Notes

One or more Note widgets can be added. The widget must have:

  • a title
  • a text field for notes
