Attributes tab

Field	Description
Code	User name for login
User type	Local User: user added directly within CCH Tagetik. External user: user created within an external system and imported into CCH Tagetik.

Security tab

Please find below the most important fields.

Field	Description
Locked temporarily	Prevents the user from accessing the application.
Password rule	Rule applied to the password.
Manage password rules	Opens the page to set restrictions on passwords and password management.
Password to be changed	Forces the user to change their password upon next login. Once changed, this field is automatically deselected.
Reference users and area profile
Reference user for other users	User who can be used as a reference user for other users.
Inherit roles from Reference user	Enables the role and accessible databases to be inherited from a reference user.
Reference Users	Users from whom the selected user inherits their roles and accessible databases.
Area profile	The selected user is a dummy user with an area profile function.
Inherit Area profile from another user	The user is associated with an area profile which limits their authorisations.
Max number of area users	Maximum number of users that can be associated with the area profile.
Area	User group. If the user represents an area profile, this field contains the user code of that user.
