Assign Permissions for User Roles
You can assign the following user roles in CCH Tagetik Supply Chain Planning:
User Role Permissions
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Administrator | Has full control over the entire system by default. |
| Power User | Can make changes to records and run administration tasks, but is not a true Administrator. |
| Owner | Controls one or more records in a database. Typically, owners are financial analysts who use CCH Tagetik Supply Chain Planning to modify forecasts. A user account added to the Owner Property of a database record is an Owner. Owners are also referred to as Forecast Owners, Record Owners, and Assumption Owners. When a record is created, an owner name typically is specified in the record properties. Only the owner of a record (and database administrators) can modify it. If no owner is specified for a record, then only administrators may modify it. If the database property Allow all users to modify assumptions that have no owner is enabled, a record without an owner may be modified by any user. See Configure the Database. |
| Viewer | Anyone with a user account and access to the CCH Tagetik Supply Chain Planning instance; has no Administrator or Owner permissions. Viewers can make changes to records to perform a What If analysis, for example, but they cannot save these changes to the forecast database. When the user logs in, any changes made are deleted. |
