Enabling the use of formulas on a matrix
To enable the use of formulas on a row/column of a matrix:
- Select a single matrix header cell and open the pop-up menu.
Note: It is also possible to select a cell at the end of the matrix. 2. From the pop-up menu, select Enable formulas on row if the cell is a row header, or Enable formulas on column in the case of a column.
Disabling the use of formulas on a matrix
To disable the use of formulas on a row/column of a matrix:
- Select a single matrix header cell in which formulas are enabled.
- From the pop-up menu, select Disable formulas on row if the cell is a row header, or Disable formulas on column in the case of a column.
Extending a formula within a row/column
To extend a formula over a row/column of a matrix:
- Select a single value cell of the matrix in which a formula is present.
- From the pop-up menu, select Fill row with formula if the cell is on a formula-enabled row, or Fill column with formula in the case of a column.
Note: If the cell is part of both a row and a column that are both enabled for formulas, then both commands will be displayed from the pop-up menu.
Note: the formula is not really extended over the entire row/column, but is extended to the right in the case of a row and downwards in the case of a column
