Working with the dimension panel

Navbar > Reports & Analysis > SmartInsight >CCH Tagetik

The dimension panel opens automatically when a matrix is created.

To hide/show the dimension panel, click Dimension Panel.

Search for an element in the dimensions tree

SmartInsight tile > CCH Tagetik > Dimension

Navbar > Reports & Analysis > SmartInsight >CCH Tagetik> Dimension

  1. Select a hierarchy node: the search box above will be activated for the selected hierarchy.
  2. Type the text to search and then press Enter: the dimensions panel will show the hierarchy nodes and sheets that contain the searched text in their code or description.
  3. To end the search, click X in the search window.

Select one or several elements in the dimensions tree

Navbar > Reports & Analysis > SmartInsight >CCH Tagetik> Dimension

  1. Click the control box or on the name of the desired element.
  2. To select other elements of the same hierarchy, click the control box of the individual elements or select them by pressing CTRL or SHIFT

Note: elements of different hierarchies cannot be selected using CTRL or SHIFT. If an element has already been selected, it will be automatically deselected when an element of another hierarchy is selected with CTRL or SHIFT.
