Applying style sheets

Associate a style sheet with a form

Excel > CCH® Tagetik > Design > open form > Form options

Select the Layout options tab and select the desired style sheet in Tagetik Style.

Note: the appearance of the form elements displayed in any working mode is determined when a style sheet is associated with the form. The Layout options tab includes parameters that manage the appearance and certain cell formatting characteristics, specifically for using the form in data entry mode.

Associate a style sheet with a matrix

When a style sheet is associated with the form, its use at the matrix level needs to be activated in any case.

  1. Open the matrix (see How to access the windows).
  2. In the Matrix options tab, select the Layout options tab, then in Formatting type, select Apply Tagetik style.

The matrix will then be formatted via the style sheet associated with the form in the Form options window (see Associate a style sheet with a form).

Associate a style sheet with matrix rows/columns

Even if a style sheet is associated with the form and in use in the matrix, it is possible to define a specific style for one or several rows/columns.

  1. Open the matrix (see How to access the windows).
  2. In the Row/column filters tab, select the Layout options tab, then in Formatting type, select Apply Tagetik style.
  3. In the row/column filters tree, select a row/column filter, then click next to Tagetik style in the properties table. The system will open a window of styles to be applied. The elements hierarchy only shows elements contained in the row/column.
  4. In the elements hierarchy, select the desired element.
  5. In the list of styles, select the desired style.
  6. Click to create the relationship.
  7. Click OK.
