This page allows you to create task workflows for the selected step.

Fields in window to add a task
This window will appear after a task icon has been dragged into the work panel.
Please find below the most important fields.
| Field | Description |

| Optional | Make the task optional. It will then be possible to submit task workflow data even if the task has not been run. |
| Read-only | For forms, this allows you to open the form in navigation mode rather than data entry mode. If the form is in navigation mode, the task will automatically become optional. The user must in any case declare that the task has been completed to continue to the next one. |
| Enable e-mail notification | Only if the process send email rule Completion: Process task workflows is active. Sends the task managers a notification email reporting that the previous task has been completed and they can start working. |
| Declare task completion | Allows you to select the mode for declaring the task complete. |
| Parameters | Allows you to indicate the parameters for running the task. The displayed parameters will depend on the type of task that has been selected. For example, for Submit and Diagnostics activities, underlying nodes and entities can also be submitted en masse and diagnostics can be run on them. The Forms option allows you to indicate the report in the list of preconfigured reports that the user can use. |
| Label | Assigns a label to the task. |
IMPORTANT: 'Bookmark' type tasks have been deprecated. With the introduction of the new user interface, it is no longer possible to create new ones. Instead, 'Link' tasks must be used. 'Bookmark' tasks already in the system will continue to function correctly.
List steps¶
This page allows you to create task workflows for the selected step.
Fields in window to add a task
You can add a new task to the queue of those already present, via the 'Add Task' button.
A new task can be inserted between two existing ones by using the 'Add Task' button located between the two items.
The graphic order of the tasks can be changed via drag & drop functionality.
You can modify the task sequence either by using the dedicated button
or while creating a new task.
Please find below the most important fields.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Working days | Allows you to specify number of days by which tasks must be completed. The value can be positive if the deadline is after the start of the work cycle, or negative if the deadline is before the start of the work cycle. |
| Task type | Info, Form and Submission tasks are currently available. |
| Read-only | Only 'Form' task type. Opens the form in navigation mode. |
| Dependencies | Allows you specify whether the task is independent or depends on one or more previous tasks. |
| Parameters | Allows you to indicate the parameters for running the task. The displayed parameters will depend on the type of task that has been selected. For the Form type task, it allows you to specify the report in the list of pre-configured ones. |
Spreadsheet
Clicking the 'Spreadsheet' button opens a dedicated spreadsheet for managing the tasks within the selected task workflow. In this way, the user can handle tasks more efficiently by copying and pasting data directly from an Excel sheet.
