Intelligent Disclosure setup
To configure the new Collaborative Office solution, it is necessary for:
- an CCH Tagetik administrator to define the SharePoint settings in the CCH Tagetik web application
- an administrator of the client organisation’s Microsoft 365 suite to configure the Add-In via their own Microsoft 365 Admin centre
CCH Tagetik Admin Setup
Repository > Intelligent Disclosure Settings (beta)
IMPORTANT: before proceeding, you must have certain settings defined in the Microsoft 365 suite of the user’s organisation.
- Insert the Microsoft365 Tenant ID of the user’s organisation
- Insert the SharePoint Hostname of the user’s organisation. The hostname is visible in the URL used to connect to the SharePoint site (e.g. https://hostname/sites/sitename)
- Insert the name of the SharePoint Site of the user’s organisation that will be used to save Collaborative Office documents.
- Click Save.
Note: at the end of the integration process, the system will show the Client ID and the CCH Tagetik Tenant ID to be used in the add-in configuration.
Microsoft Office 365 Admin Setup
The Add-in can be set up:
- centrally by a Microsoft 365 administrator user, which means that the add-in will be installed by the administrator for all of the organisation’s users or for a group of users
- by an individual user, which means that each individual user will install the add-in themselves
To distribute the add-in, follow the steps described below:
- open the Microsoft 365 home page and sign in
- choose App Launcher and Admin
- choose “Settings > Integrated apps” from the navigation menu
- choose “Load customised apps” at the bottom of the page
- in the “Load applications to distribute”
- select “Office Add-in” in the App type menu in the “Load applications to distribute” section
- choose to load the manifest file (.xml) from your own computer or enter the link to the file in the “Choose how to load the application” menu
- validate the manifest file
- in the “Add users” section, choose the users to whom you want to distribute the application
- in the “Accept required permissions”, grant all the authorisations required by the Collaborative Office solution by clicking on the “Accept authorisations” button
- click on the “Finish deployment” button and wait for the distribution to complete
Once distribution is complete, the Intelligent Disclosure Add-in will be available both in the desktop application and the web application and all users will be able to complete their own installation. For more details, see Install the Intelligent Disclosure Add-in from Microsoft Word.
