Alerts & Notifications It allows the user to view events tracked by the Self-Service Portal on the PROD environment. The Self-Service Portal tracks three types of events that may occur on the PROD environment: - CPM Status - Performance - SAP HANA CPM Status events include global outage, partial outage and back online events. An outage event indicates that some servers are not operational. These events do not include interruptions due to connectivity or database problems. In the case of a partial outage, only part of the servers are down; consequently, only some users may experience disruptions and, by logging out and logging in, will be automatically directed to a functioning server. A global outage affects all servers. In such cases, the cloud activates a self-restoring system that autonomously restarts the servers involved, removing the need to open a ticket or report the emergency. Finally, back online events indicate that one or more servers are back up and running after an interruption. Performance type events indicate that a data processing has exceeded the expected time, which can be configured in the Notifications section of the Self-Service Portal. SAP HANA type events are available only to customers using SAP HANA as the database vendor and indicate the occurrence of a 'memory exceeded' event. In particular, these events are triggered when the memory used by the database server exceeds 80 % of the available memory for a continuous period of at least 15 minutes.
Log Off Allows the user to log out of the application.
