Checks on datasets with the Account dimension
Introduction¶
On opening in data entry mode and saving form data, the system verifies that the data saved in dataset fields via the form are coherent with the dimension elements of the process. Details of the checks available in the presence of the Account dimension are provided below.
Dimension coherence checks¶
In the presence of Scenario, Period, Entity and Account (or Account and Category) dimensions or non-mandatory dimensions in the dataset or in the partition logics, when the form is accessed via a process with submission based on the Account (or Account/Category), these checks verify that all the dataset’s dimensions are present in the form.
Note: a data entry form can be subject to submission checks for a certain process and not for others, depending on whether or not the Category dimension or the process submission type are present, based on Account or Account/Category.
Process coherence checks¶
In the presence of Scenario, Period, Entity and Account (or Account/Category) dimensions in the dataset or partition logics, these checks verify that the saved data refer to Scenarios/Periods, Entities and Accounts (or Accounts/Categories) that belong to the process.
Note: an Account/Category pair (or Account/Category/Entity triplet) belongs to a process if, in the definition for the entity’s process data model, the account has been associated with a step.
When the dataset contains the Category dimension, and the form is accessed via a process with submission based on the Account, any specified Category must belong to the categories filter specified in the process.
Coherence checks on process submission¶
In the presence of Scenario, Period, Entity and Account (or Account/Category) dimensions in the dataset or partition logics, these checks verify that the saved data refer to Scenarios/Periods, Entities and Accounts (or Accounts/Categories) that have not yet been submitted.
