Running a submission and rejection (with step dimension)

Introduction

Submissions and rejections can be run from various points, depending on the role of the user running them (contributor or consolidator), the object on which action is being taken (entity or journal), and the desired result.

IMPORTANT: before you can submit data on the consolidator side, they must have been submitted from the contributor side.

Entity submission/rejection

Submit or reject the single step in the workflow for a single entity	Processes tile > select process and scenario/period > step tab > select entities > Submission/Rejection Navigation panel > Contribute > Process > select process and scenario/period > Open Process > step tab > select entity > Submission/Rejection	To process the rejection, you can specify any notes and reasons for rejection.
Submit or reject the single step in the workflow for several entities (multiple selection).	Processes tile > select process and scenario/period > step tab > select several entities > Submission/Rejection Navigation panel > Contribute > Process > select process > Open Process > step tab > select several entities > Submission/Rejection	To process the rejection, you can specify any notes and reasons for rejection.
Submit a single step of a submission task in the workflow	Processes tile > select process and scenario/period > step tab > select entities > Right click submission task > Run Navigation panel > Contribute > Process > select process > Open Process > step tab > select entities > Right click submission task > Run	This is possible only if a task dedicated to submission has been set up.
