Contribution data processing
Introduction¶
The contribution data processing is the first data processing that is run on the consolidation scenario. It generates the consolidable amounts.
Contribution sub-data processing¶
Contribution data processing is made up of the following sub-data processing, which is not all mandatory:
| Data Processing | Description | Mandatory |
|---|---|---|
| Generate proportional | Generates the proportional amount type on the consolidation scenario (see Proportional calculation data processing). | Yes |
| Generate converted | Values the converted amount type, in the consolidation currency, based on the proportion amount type. This amount is expressed in local currency for amounts and entity journals and in any currency for consolidation journals. | Yes |
| Generate consolidable and Equity evaluation | Copies converted data onto the consolidable amount type. | If... |
| Minorities | Reclassifies the portion of net equity and of the year’s result for minorities in specific FS items. For amounts and entity journals, specific journals are generated, and for consolidation journals new rows are generated in the journal itself. | No |
| Use FX rates from ownership structure register | The use FX rates on consolidation scenarios data processing generates overridden FX rates on the consolidation scenario based on the FX rates entered in the ownership structure register (see FX rate loading on consolidation scenarios data processing). | No |
If the three mandatory data processes are not carried out, the three related consolidation scenario amount types will not be defined and consolidation will not be possible.
The contribution data processing is the only data processing and it includes all consolidation data processing, plus the non-mandatory data processing in order to perform the overrides on the proportional, converted and consolidable amount types.
