CFP data processing - Create derived events

The system processes all non-manual events, or events created through the application of an event creation rule, on the basis of the input event, such as the accounting deriving from the manual input event of accrual.

The origin of all events created by this process is “CFP - Create Events by a rule” (EVENT_RULE).

The system:

  • retrieves, in sequence, the accounts/events to be processed with the relative creation rules (like bundling, weight, generic shifting, etc.)
  • first processes the tuples without overriding on the P&L, then processes the tuples with overriding on the P&L
  • creates the derived events by applying the rules in the following order:
  • bundling:
  • the event amount is the sum of the amounts of all “generator” events from the bundling start period on the basis of what is indicated in the bundling type (monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, etc.)
  • the date of the created event is the “First day” of the “bundling start period” or the “Last day” according to what is indicated in the “Bundling reference”.
  • Weight:
  • if the weight maintains the annual values, the event amount is the sum of the amounts of all “generator” events in the year * the weight of the day / total weight of the year
  • if the weight maintains the monthly values, the event amount is the sum of the amounts of all “generator” events in the period * the weight of the day / total weight of the period
  • the date of the created event is the date indicated in the weight
  • for the rows created, the system defines the credit terms field with the credit terms indicated in the details of the weight
  • the system only considers weights linked to planning dates
  • shifting in months and days. At the event date (original or calculated after the processing of bundling or a weight) the system calculates the amount on the derived event according to the shift defined by means of percentages inserted on the months and days
  • shifting by period in months. At the event date (original or calculated after the processing of bundling or a weight) the system applies the shift in months (which can be positive or negative), which is diversified by period
