Check with rule

Function and purpose of the operation

The Check with rule operation allows you to validate data using user-defined coherence/existence/congruence rules (see Checking rules page).

Operation behaviour

The following scenarios may occur during execution:

  • No anomaly detected: the operation is completed successfully.
  • Anomalies detected: the operation generates a warning. The audit shows the error message and details of the top 10 rows in the dataset with anomalies.

IMPORTANT: If the DTP is launched from the cockpit and anomalies are detected, the system generates a report file of the anomalies found. For further details see DTP Report.
