Purpose of window¶
This window allows you to set the parameters to launch a DTP in debug mode, using partitions of independent data.
Fields in window
Please find below the most important fields.
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Process | indicates the DTP-related process to be run. |
| Scenarios | indicates the scenario on which the DTP is to be run. |
| Period | indicates the period on which the DTP is to be run. |
| Step | mandatory only in the case of a multiorganizational process; indicates the DTP phase to be performed. |
| Size | indicates the launch dimension (Entity or Analytical Dimension). |
| Update Reporting Layer | indicates whether the launch should also perform the update operations of the reporting layer. |
| Context independent run | indicates whether the launch must comply with the rules of the 'context-independent' mode. If the options is selected, the DTP will be able to find only partitions relevant to the launch and not other permanent partitions of the Calculation Layer; whereas, if the option is disabled, the DTP will find the partitions of a standard launch, namely the existing ones. |
| Operation | indicates the operation of the selected task at which debug execution is to end; if left blank, it is not considered a limit for the selected task. |
