Purpose of the page¶
This page allows you to define special methods, or specific method parameters and the syntax to be run in the DTP operation.

Tabs on the page
| Element | Description |

| Attributes | Allows you to manage the properties of the special method and define their parameters associated with the operation. |
| SQL Server | Allows you to insert the special method syntax. The syntax must be entered in the tab corresponding to the server in use. For more details, see Parameters supported in the operation syntax. |

Attributes tab

| Description | Description of the special method |
| Disable concurrency checks | When active, the method can be run in parallel with other activities. By default, special methods are run in isolation. |
| Parameters | (Only visible after the Special method and Description fields have been saved. Allows you to define specific parameters for the special method, which can be customised in the operation. |

| Type | - Dataset type: defines a parameter by which the user can select the dataset and type on which to run the operation. - String: defines a parameter in which the user can insert a string of text. |
