Generate Xbrl instance

Once data that need to be reported (in the XBRL_DATA table ) have been arranged and reclassified in the appropriate item/context, it is possible to generate the XBRL file.

This can be done from the Data Entry & Reporting - XBRL - Instance menu: just select the instance you want to run and then the "Generate XBRL Instance" window menu.

Once the data processing is completed, it is possible to download the xbrl file from the File Management tab.

In the event that the number of rows to report is very high (approximately over one million), the system may need too much memory space in order to run the file, more than is available in the application. In this case, the generation of the file will fail.

In order to avoid this problem, it is possible let the system generate the xbrl file by applying the "split" procedure: the system splits the archive's data into "separated" blocks and generates one file for each block obtained. Once the procedure is completed, the system gathers automatically the files obtained in one final instance.

In order to run the split procedure, it is possible to set the maximum value of rows in which data must be arranged. This option can be set up in the configuration, in the "Advanced": "Limit for XBRL split" tab. The default value is 1 million of rows.
