Magazine
Introduction¶
Magazine is a CCH Tagetik reporting solution which allows users to create periodic publications on specific topics (e.g. KPI Analysis, revenues analysis), using forms. It works according to a subscription model, in which publications are automatically sent to interested users.
Publications¶
The forms are published by manually or automatically running the Magazine_issue_creator data processing.
In particular, this data processing makes it possible to perform the following activities:
- periodically check the magazines to be published
- run the forms on which the magazines are based and make them available, for each subscribed user
The publication start and end dates and specific issue parameters can be set in the data processing settings.
User roles¶
The user roles associated with the Magazine solution are outlined below.
| User | Description |
|---|---|
| Standard user | Users authorised for the MAGAZINE_USER role can access the Magazine Library page, where users can view the catalogue of available Magazines and subscribe to them. Based on their user rights, users will only see publications for which they are authorised. |
| Magazine Administrator | User authorised for the MAGAZINE_ADMIN role. This user can create and edit magazines and delete issues of them. The Administrator user can edit the structure of the magazine forms, but only until publication. |
