Import Items and Contexts

This utility enables the import into Tagetik of the list of Items and Contexts of a given Taxonomy.

Import taxonomy

The import of a taxonomy allows for the import of the list of items. In the case of complex taxonomies, such as EBA and Eiopa, the import must be performed by entrypoint (or module, foe example, by EBA, FINREP_IND_GAAP, FINREP_IND_IFRS, FINREP_CON_GAAP, FINREP_CON_IFRS, etc. ).

For the purposes of import , it is necessary to provide the system with:

  • the cache file, namely the zip file containing all the folders that compose the taxonomy. Typically, this file can be downloaded from the website of the competent authority (for example, the website of EBA or EIOPA or of the Chamber of commerce for the Italian taxonomy).
  • the taxonomy file, namely the xsd file of the taxonomy (or of the module), conveniently modified. This file is provided by Tagetik.

Import contexts

The import of contexts allows for the import of the list of sub-contexts (or MD contexts), Main contexts and XBRL contexts related to the taxonomy (or module of the taxonomy).

Moreover, it is necessary to provide the system with an appropriate xml file, which is supplied by Tagetik.
