System reports
Introduction¶
System reports present, in a single view, the same information that is inserted from data entry pages. You cannot edit data in these reports; however, you can view the data in locked scenarios.
The purpose of these reports is to show only data of active scenarios and for the dimensions which the user can view (scenarios, entities, categories, custom dimensions, accounts). Consequently, by default they do not typically show data stored offline, which are accessible in any case.

To navigate the data easily, set the desired dimensions as the user’s Point of view. See . You can also save the set filters, to consult them later.
Types of report on gross and IC amounts¶
The system reports that can be generated for gross and IC amounts are listed below.
| Report | Description | Path |
|---|---|---|
| Original gross amounts | Shows the original gross amounts. With the same dimensions, and for data entered via a data entry form, there can be several records because the system can be set to generate a row for every change made to the data. | System reports tile > Gross and IC amounts > Original gross amounts Navigation panel > Reports & Analysis > System Reports > Original gross amounts |
| Original IC amounts | Shows the original intercompany amounts. With the same dimensions, and for data entered via a data entry form, there can be several records because the system can be set to generate a row for every change made to the data. | System reports tile > Gross and IC amounts > Original IC amounts Navigation panel > Reports & Analysis > System Reports > Original IC amounts |
| IC reconciliation accounts | Shows IC reconciliation accounts. | System Reports tab > Gross and IC amounts > IC reconciliation accounts Navigation panel > Reports & Analysis > System Reports > IC reconciliation accounts |
| Intercompany reports | Collects data on the intercompany entries (IC amounts and entity journals) that exist between entities belonging to the same group. | System reports tile > Gross and IC amounts > Intercompany report Processes tile > select process > Consolidator > Overview tab or Step tab > (Actions) Process reports > Intercompany report Processes tile > select process > Contributor > Detail summary tab > (Actions) Process reports > Intercompany report Navigation panel > Processes > select process > Consolidator > Overview tab or Step tab > (Actions) Process reports > Intercompany report Navigation panel > Processes > select process > Contributor > Detail summary tab > (Actions) Process reports > Intercompany report |
| Consolidated amounts | Shows the amounts present on the consolidation scenarios. You can view proportional, converted and consolidable data. The consolidable data represent the entity’s contribution to the group consolidated financial statements, for the amount categories. | System reports tile > Gross and IC amounts > Consolidated amounts Navigation panel > Reports & Analysis > System Reports > Consolidated amounts |
Types of reports on journals¶
The system reports that can be generated on journals are listed below.
| Report | Description | Path |
|---|---|---|
| Original journal rows | Shows all the rows of the journals on the original scenario. You can view both the rows of entity journals and the rows of consolidation journals. | System reports tile > Journals > Original journal rows Navigation panel > Reports & Analysis > System Reports > Original journal rows |
| Consolidated journal rows | Shows all the rows of the journals on the consolidation scenarios. You can view both the rows of entity journals and the rows of consolidation journals. | System reports tile > Journals > Consolidated journal rows Navigation panel > Reports & Analysis > System Reports > Consolidated journal rows |
| Entity journals - Headers | View all entity journal headers The following information can be viewed from the individual header: - the original and consolidated rows, with the relative balancing - any documents attached to the journal Note: you can download the documents attached to the journals locally. | System reports tile > Journals > Entity journals - Headers Navigation panel > Reports & Analysis > System Reports > Entity journals - Headers |
| Consolidation journals - Headers | View all consolidation journal headers The following information can be viewed from the individual header: - the original and consolidated rows, with the relative balancing - any documents attached to the journal Note: you can download the documents attached to the journals locally. | System reports tile > Journals > Consolidation journals - Headers Navigation panel > Reports & Analysis > System Reports > Consolidation journals - Headers |
